Regency Centers Talks Green Leasing
Regency Centers has proven again and again its commitment to sustainability. Now it’s being asked to write the book on the subject – literally.
Along with Green Building Services, Inc. and Ecoxera, Regency will research, develop and write content for the Green Retail Guide: Integrating LEED® into your Leasing Process, a project of the U.S. Green Building Council.
Based on its past work, Regency should be a great pick. The guide will provide a practical resource that helps integrate green thinking into the way that retail space is selected, leased, built-out and occupied. LEED certification is a great start, but sustainability is something that needs to be maintained, and looking at it from the perspective of landlord/tenant relationships should be fascinating.
