A Recycling Fling
This week, The GPT Group is participating in Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week.
Not only are GPT malls taking part – with recycling stations for all the worst landfill offenders (old batteries, eye glasses, CFL bulbs, corks, printer cartridges, etc), but their other commercial properties are too. Coffees purchased in GPT office buildings are marked with stickers reminding consumers that the cups are recyclable. And employees at head office will be given their own reusable cups.
GPT is also taking part in Planet Ark’s Friday File Fling, which is a great idea for any company or office. The concept for the File Fling is simple – set a time on Friday to go through your files, reclaiming unused paper and recycling (and possibly shredding) documents that no longer serve a purpose. It’s a great way both to get a large quantity of recyclable paper back into circulation, and to get rid of things that do nothing but waste your space.
