Lighting up the Night
The Shops at Prudential Center has come up with a novel way to use its tower location to help local charities.
For the month of December, the Boston shopping center will light up the 51st floor of Prudential Tower with colorful LED lights. Each night, the lights will shine a different color in support of a different area charity. 28 non-profit partners will take part in the 31 Nights of Light.
Many of the 31 Nights of Light partners will turn their night into a celebratory event. The shopping center is providing a 4-foot switch for “Flip the Switch” events, and guests and supporters of the non-profits are offered a complimentary PRUferred Holiday Savings Pass.
The LED lights also ensure that the Shops at Prudential Center can keep its holiday initiatives green while lighting up the Boston skyline.
