Keeping kids safe

0122bike.gifSt. Johns and Clayton Square shopping centres have taken on a cause that everyone can get behind: child safety.

Earlier this month, the shopping centers got together with the Liverpool City Council Road Safety Unit, Merseyside Police, Fire Support Network and 107.6 Juice FM. Together, they helped teach Liverpool children about road safety. In addition to handing out over 5000 high-viz armbands, the shopping centers educated children about walking or biking at night.

The nights are long right now, and kids are in danger on the roads after school. Many shopping centers schedule road safety campaigns in the summer, but this is a great time to help keep kids safe.
