Cause Marketing: Cause Marketing is the art of combining your commercial brand with a non-profit issue. Cause marketing campaigns have years of history and range from relatively superficial tactical partnerships, to long-term, strategic alliances that penetrate deeply into business and nonprofit organizations.

Metropolis at Metrotown and its Green Team have put together a contest to reward the Greenest Household in British Columbia, Canada.

For the past month, participants have written in with their personal information and a short synopsis of the things that make their household particularly green. Now the top five finalists have been chosen by judges for the types, frequency, and impact of the eco-friendly activities they partake in.

The final five will be posted online and judged by their peers. Voters have the chance to win one of three $100 prize packs. The top household will win a $1000 Metropolis at Metrotown gift card and a two-night vacation to Whistler, Canada. The other four will take home a pair of bikes and a $250 gift card. How nice to be recognized.
