GGP Pledges Its Help
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, General Growth shopping centers are helping bring shoppers together in a pledge to help beat breast cancer.
Northridge Fashion Center has vowed to help create awareness by hosting The Pink Promise Zone. Supported by Susan G. Komen for the Cure, The Pink Promise Zone is an interactive pink station located in the mall where shoppers can stop by to sign a promise card acknowledging their commitment to support breast cancer research. The promise card features a take-home list of reminders and suggestions for improved breast health. For each pink promise signed, General Growth Properties will donate $1.00 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
As of earlier this week, 1200 shoppers at Northridge had signed the pledge. Northridge Hospital also had representatives on hand to distribute cancer awareness materials.
