EYE Wants Malls to Have a Heart


It’s great to see companies coming together for a good cause. This month, EYE, a leading out-of-home media provider, worked together with 50 client malls to support four great charities — American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, Breastcancer.org and New York Cares.

As part of its Have a Heart campaign, EYE asked the malls it works with to consider donating advertising space to one of the charities. The centers that chose to participate each nominated one of the charities, donating two ad panels to the cause. EYE distributed the campaign posters, which ended up on over 200 panels across the country.

According to Michelle Schiano, EYE USA’s Vice President of Marketing, “This whole concept came about after we had meetings in each of our US offices, looking at ways in which we could boost morale internally, and for the industry at large, after a particularly challenging year. There was an overwhelming consensus that everyone wanted to get involved in something charitable that they could share not just with colleagues but also clients.”

Sounds like a great way to move past a tough year into a new decade.
