John Lewis Peterborough in Queensgate Shopping Centre has been hard at work on a series of charity events benefiting the Prince’s Trust. The charity helps create opportunities for unemployed or disadvantaged youth, encouraging them to learn about business, finances and teamwork.
The next major event that John Lewis has organized is a gala evening at Queensgate, with drinks, dining, and dance. The department store’s team is working toward a £20,000 commitment to the Prince’s Trust as part of the Million Makers initiative. Participating businesses receive £3,000 with which to organize charity events for the year.
