Tanger Outlets Continues its Spirit of Service

The passing of Stanley K. Tanger last fall was a great loss for the retail industry, and for Tanger Outlets. To mark that loss, and to honor the memory of its founder, Tanger has created Stanley’s Samaritans, a program that sees Tanger employees giving back to their communities.

Tanger believed in the importance of social responsibility, and in 2006, he implemented Tanger’s Volunteerism Program which supports employee participation in worthwhile projects and organizations within communities where they live and work. Stanley’s Samaritans is an extension of that philosophy. Across the U.S., Tanger employees will spend this week volunteering their time to groups that need their assistance.

Tanger Outlets in Tilton, NH has chosen to help out at the New Hampshire Veterans Home, a long-term care facility for the state’s elderly and disabled veterans.

The New Hampshire Veterans Home salutes Eric Proulx and Heidi Laramie for their donation of time and lots of energy during Volunteer Appreciation Week. They rolled up their sleeves and washed/detailed some of the vehicles we use to transport our residents. Thank you Eric and Heidi!
